GRID DRIVING SCHOOL

At GRID Driving School we have a range of services for students who just need a quick reminder about the basics of driving or students who may have started learning to drive at some point but never saw their lessons through to completion.

Refresher Courses

At GRID Driving School we offer basic refresher courses for people looking to get back into driving again. We understand that some people may hold a full UK driver’s licence but circumstances have meant that they have been unable to drive for some time. Students like this would be ideal candidates for our short refresher courses.

Our refresher courses go over everything you need to know to get back behind the wheel of a car and be a confident and responsible driver. These courses can be as short or as long as you require, most people take a double refresher lesson and go from there. You may discover you actually remember more than you thought!

If you would like to know more about the refresher courses we offer in Glasgow, please get in touch with the team and explain your situation. Refresher courses are only provided to students who can produce a full and valid UK driving licence – please see our Terms & Conditions for more information.

Lapsed Learners

Some students may have started taking lessons but due to changes in circumstances had to stop after already undertaking a substantial number of lessons. We call these types of students lapsed learners. If you fall into this category, you won’t need to go back to square one with GRID Driving School.

As a lapsed learner, your driving instructor will assess what you already know over the course of a single or double lesson. From there you and your driving instructor can decide your next steps, whether that be booking you in for a block of 10 lessons or simply having a couple of polishing lessons to get you ready to test.

If you would like to know more about what GRID Driving School offers lapsed learners please contact us directly. Alternatively, go ahead and book a single lesson online today! Remember, it’s never too late to get back in to driving.
